Jordi Armengol

Viola

He studied viola at the Cervera Conservatory and received the Título Superior de viola under Paul Cortese. He also studied baroque viola with Emilio Moreno. He was a member of the Jove Orquestra Simfònica de Catalunya and now performs with the Orquestra de Cambra de Cervera, the Orquestra Simfònica Julià Carbonell de les Terres de Lleida and the Orquestra Barroca Catalana. He is now a lecturer at the Cervera Conservatory and at the Bellpuig School of Music, and combines his teaching duties with studies in History and Science of Music at La Rioja University.
