María José Boira
Born in Barcelona, she began her study of the guitar with Fernando Alonso. In 1987 she continued her advanced guitar studies in the l’Escola de Arts Musicals Luthier with William Waters, Manuel Gonzalez, Fernando Rodríguez, Arnaldur Arnarson, Alex Garrobé, and Xavier Coll. Ms. Boira has performed internationally as a soloist, and with the Mosaic Quartet.
